MAH was invited to Girl Fest’s Art Gallery Opening which was held at Manifest on Thursday, February 16th to kick off their 8th annual festivities.
This event goes along with Girl Fest’s mission is to promote the prevention of violence against women and girls through education and art. Girl Fest incorporates music, film, art, dance and spoken word to get its message out to the public.
I went to support my friend, Christina Soo Hoo, who was in charge of the Art Gallery Opening/ Artist Reception. Walking into the Manifest I could see it was transformed into an enchanting art gallery. Art lined the walls and really made me feel inspired. Besides the art they also had an area where you could take a light photo or get a crystal tattoo. What a great event. Check out the pictures to see how much fun I had.
